Conditional Formatting changes the appearance of cells on the basis of conditions that you specify. If the condition is true, the cell range is formatted; if the condition is false, the cell range is not formatted.
Many conditions are built-in, and you can also create your own conditional formatting based on Rules. The important thing is that the result of the formula should be true or False.
