How to Use Increase Decrease Arrows in Excel – Excel Tips and Tricks

In this video, we utilize up and down arrows (increase/decrease) to demonstrate how data sets vary based on the specified percentages. Positive numbers display with an up arrow, whereas negative numbers display with a down arrow.

Here are the steps.
1) Select cell
2) Ctrl + 1
3) Number tab
4) Custom
5) Enter following in Type.
[green]▲0%;[red]▼0%;
Scroll 13 down in Character Map Window
6) OK
7) Apply to all cells
